Lilies and Cannonballs Review

Published in New York City, Lilies and Cannonballs Review seeks to create a space for the synthesis of contrary elements: aesthetically driven and socially conscious literature and art; traditional and experimental forms; crazy-man conservative and bleeding liberal views.
Bold, forward-looking readers will find much to celebrate in LCR, including poetry by John Yau, Matthew Thorburn, Susan Lewis, James Doyle, and John Bradley; fiction and essays by Lynn Crawford, Arthur Saltzman, Julio Cortázar, and Íñigo García Ureta; plays by Lee Rowland, Kalle Ryan, and Diane Lefer; and paintings and drawings by Marc Connor, Jim Lutes, Gaetano LaRoche, and Laurie Riccadonna—among many others.
A true independent literary magazine, LCR is not affiliated with any institution, movement, or polity. Within its beautifully designed and evocative covers, readers will find only the best in contemporary poetry, fiction, prose, drama, translation, art, and collaboration.
