Colorado Review is a national journal of contemporary short fiction, poetry, literary nonfiction, and book reviews edited by Stephanie G’Schwind, Matthew Cooperman, Sasha Steensen, and Donald Revell. Published three times a year,
Colorado Review has a circulation of approximately 1000, is carried by university and public libraries all over the country, and is distributed by Ingram Periodicals and Kent News to chain and independent bookstores and newsstands nationally. Work first published in

Best Creative Nonfiction, and the
Best New American Voices series; the
Pushcart Prize anthology;

Nelligan Prize for Short Fiction ($1,000)2009 NELLIGAN PRIZE FOR SHORT FICTION. $1,000 awarded for the winning short story, plus publication in the fall 2009 issue of Colorado Review. The winning book-length manuscript will be announced in May 2009 and published by the Center for Literary Publishing in the fall of 2009.
